The best experience!! It was a great way to end a week long work trip. Our server Joy was next level. She went above and beyond. A lot of servers out there could learn a thing or to from this girl. Food is as amazing too but nothing compared to the Ninja Turtle Dangle. By far one of the best experiences. Thank you Joy for making our visit great!! ❤️
My mom and I had a concert at Rogers the other night and figured grabbing some dinner nearby would be a good idea. I was able to reserve a table from the website for about 2 hours before our concert which was great! It was actually super convenient too because we parked in the Ice District parkade too and the Icehouse was just above it! Our service was quite good despite how busy it got before the concert and the food was quite good as well! After we were done, it was literally just across the sidewalk to get into the entrance of Rogers Place. You literally cannot beat the location! I also could not believe how massive the Icehouse was inside! I honestly wouldn’t have even had to reserve a table because there were still so many open tables but I’m still glad I did just for the peace of mind knowing we would get a table before our concert at the time we wanted! I would absolutely come here again before a concert or event at Rogers Place!
Food is decent and the patio is amazing, but the service is terribly slow. Staff try their hardest and most of the servers are very nice, but 1 hour+ for food is unacceptable especially for lunch. All 3 visits were over an hour wait for food and all 3 times were a different excuse, from understaffing to certain basic staples like rice not being available or made even though we were there right at opening time.
In terms of food, taste is okay but certain details tend to be present a lot such as the avocados were too green or too much seasoning on the food, or just plain bland sometimes with no flavour or texture.
Doesn’t sound like the managers here care about customer retainment.

Great atmosphere, huge patio with lots to do, staff are always helpful, great menu choices. Awesome place to go before or after events at Rogers Place.

I’ve been to the Canadian Icehouse a couple times now and there are some consistencies; mid quality food, poor service, and long wait times. Our most recent experience was quite poor as we were overcharged for items, waited a very long time for drinks, the food quality was very poor, and I was given the wrong meal. We were able to get our money reimbursed for the items we didn’t order but I still paid for and ate an item I did not order. I will admit, I should have requested the proper item but I was so hungry I just ate it.
As people who follow me know, I love pizza. Canadian Brewhouse usually has very good pizza. However, during this visit the quality of the pizza has changed drastically. It does not have the same flavourful crust. This was one of my favourite bar pizzas in town but now I’m not so sure.
I hope to go back and try this place one more time but I am definitely questioning it after my last experience.

Solid spot for drinks in downtown Edmonton. Solid whiskey selection and great choice of local brews. Huge bar with two excellent outdoor seating areas, stage for live music and good size bar area. Worth a visit if your in the area.
